Hey Winstigators,

It’s April! We’ve got that few weeks where the weather is absolutely perfect before the unbearable heat and humidity kick in.

It also means that Apple Blossom Festival is right around the corner. Yeah, I’ll just wing it and find a spot along the parade route… this your official warning. That is a terrible plan. I’ve tried it. It does not end well.

Save yourself the hassle, show up like a pro and actually enjoy the parade instead of playing defense for your patch of sidewalk or hoping someone didn’t show up for their seats. Grab your seats now and make it easy on yourself. Your future self will thank you.

You’ve got a few options; Boy Scout Troop 2 always has seats available and you can also grab them through the official Apple Blossom website.

Don’t forget to look up tonight. 🌕

This isn’t Winchester specific, but it’s still pretty cool and something we can all appreciate. Tonight is a full moon that’s supposed to be larger and brighter than usual. If the skies are clear, it should be a good one. For more details including the best time to see the full pink moon (and why it’s called that), National Geographic has you covered.
