Happy Wednesday, Winstigators!
There’s a lot to see and do in Winchester but I wanted to shine a light on Katie’s Country Music Festival that’s happening at The Monument on Friday evening. I wrote about it in Winchester Wire #005, but since there are a lot more subscribers now it’s worth a quick review.
This is a great lineup of musicians that are coming together for a great cause. If you like country music, want to see some up-and-coming artists and support Katie’s Comfort House, The Monument is the place to be in Winchester on Friday night.

Ben Chapman: Be sure to check out his 2024 release, “Downbeat.” It’s been in steady rotation at my house.
Taylor Hunnicutt: “Saw Blade Hill” rips, as does “Alabama Sound.”
Micah Howard and the Southern Ghost: Originally from Columbia, South Carolina and now living in Tennessee, Micah’s released two singles this year. If you like gritty, grungy Southern Rock, this is for you.
I also want to shout-out loyal Winstigator Joanne who submitted an event happening at Vibrissa in Winchester on Thursday from 7-10pm. If you like great drinks, great food and dancing, you’ll want to check out her event “You Should Be Dancing” (flyer below).
