Hey Winstigators,
There’s a lot of St. Patrick’s events in Winchester and the surrounding territories this weekend, but I wanted to highlight Celtic Fest on Saturday.
Every March, Old Town Winchester puts Celtic Fest, a fun celebration of Irish and Scottish culture on the Walking Mall. The downtown area fills up with live Celtic music (bagpipes, if you like that sort of thing), traditional Irish dancers, local vendors, and plenty of food and drink from restaurant around the mall.
It’s one of those events where you can just casually walk around, grab a coffee or a pint, stop and watch a dance performance, browse the vendor tables, and enjoy the music drifting down the walking mall. A lot of the local shops and restaurants lean into the theme too, so the whole area ends up feeling like one big St. Patrick’s Day party.
After being cooped up all winter and with the nice weather we’ve been having, it’s a great chance to get outside, hang out and enjoy Winchester!
